He died Sept 1859 (Will states: Victualler); 1860 Licence of The Goat’s Head Leigh transferred from Mrs Wildash to her husband, John Hill Wildash (who had married the occupier, Mrs Larking),  (Maidstone Telegraph 2 Oct 1860 and  6 Oct 1860)  (By 1861 John Wildash a steward at Clarks Farm)
