Donkey Field

Land known as The Donkey Field was conveyed by the Hall Place Estate to R Durtnell and Sons Ltd on 19 June 1962 (see Deed of Discharge which forms part of the Hall Place Estate Conveyances post 1926, held by the Leigh Historical Society archives).

Later modern houses were built on the site which still has The Donkey Field as its address.
