Eighteen names are shown on an obelisk of Portland stone nine feet high mounted on a die. Designed by Professor Abercrombie of Liverpool University, the work was carried out by Spickett and Co. of Tonbridge. Unveiled by Gen. Sir George Fowke. KCB, KCMG. Dedicated by Bishop Diocese John Harmer. DD on Sunday 30th July 1922.
